3. DISPOSAL OF APPLEGARTH PUBLIC CONVENIENCE - NORTHALLERTON Opens in a new window

This report seeks approval for the disposal of the Public Convenience building adjacent to the Applegarth Car Park in Northallerton.

In accepting the recommendation, the Applegarth Public Convenience will be declared surplus to requirements and be disposed of.

4. COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE LEVY - WORK PROGRAMME AND APPROACH Opens in a new window

This report sought agreement to an approach and programme for the introduction of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) in Hambleton.

In accepting the recommendations, Option 3 (all inclusive consultancy support) will be approved for the delivery of the CIL Charging Schedule; a joint-commission for the work with Richmondshire will be approved with the arrangements as described in this report and other collaborations will be investigated subject to achieving the efficient and timely delivery of a CIL Charging Schedule.

5. ELECTORAL ARRANGEMENTS Opens in a new window

This report provides feedback from the process so far and recommends a proposal for submission to Full Council.

In accepting the recommendation, Council will be recommended to support a Council size of 28 Members as part of the Council's submission to the Local Government Boundary Commission and Officers will be given delegated powers to include supporting evidence in the submission.

7. EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC AND PRESS - NOT APPLICABLE

8. CCTV SERVICE Opens in a new window

This report sought approval to spend the money held in the Capital Programme for the upgrade of the software and control room equipment of the CCTV system. This would enable the improvement of current service levels and improve its resilience. The upgrade would be combined with service efficiencies to achieve revenue savings. These would come from a renewed maintenance contract together with a review of the number of cameras to ascertain if some could be removed without loss of system integrity or service provision.
