This report seeks approval to the adoption of a Modern Slavery Policy and Procedure that takes account of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and assists the Council in meeting its duty to help tackle modern slavery within the District

The Chief Executive will be asked to consider the recommendation as detailed within the report.  If the Chief Executive approves the recommendation, he will use his delegated authority to approve the adoption of the Modern Slavery Policy and Procedure as set out in Appendix 1 of the report.
