The Localism Act2011provided anew statutoryregime forNeighbourhood Planning. Regulations cameinto forceon 6April 2012making legalprovisions inrelation tothat regime anda firststep inthe processis thedesignationof aNeighbourhood Area. This report seeks consideration of the designation of a Neighbourhood Area for Brafferton and Helperby.
In accepting the recommendation, Cabinet will agree the designation of a Neighbourhood Area for Brafferton and Helperby and publish the necessary information.
