Report of the Director of Leisure and Communities

Lisa Wilson, Service Manager (Communities) presented a report which provided an update on community safety issues affect the Hambleton District and the work of the Safer Hambleton Hub to demonstrate how the Council was meeting its statutory duties as a named Responsible Authority under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.  A number of questions were asked by the Committee and responded to at the meeting.

The Committee wished to record special thanks to the CCTV team and all of the staff involved in the Safer Hambleton Hub for all of their continued hard work and excellent service.

The decision:

That the content of the report and the achievements summarised in Appendix 1 of the report be noted.
