35 Update to the Council's Planning Enforcement and Compliance Policy PDF 50 KB
This report seeks approval for consultation an updated version of the Planning Enforcement and Compliance Policy and for the new document to be known as the Local Enforcement Plan (as attached as appendix 1). The current version was adopted in 2008 following review it is concluded that the document should be updated to take account of the publication of the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and Government guidance in the Planning Practice Guidance.
In accepting the recommendation, Cabinet will approve the issue of the Local Enforcement Plan as attached at Appendix 1 of the report for public consultation by invitation to Parish Councils and planning agents and display on the Council’s website.

To ensure that the plan was up-to-date which would assist in managing enforcement proactively in a way which was appropriate to Hambleton.
