This report provides an update on the future insurance cover for the Council and recognises the decreased costs in insurance premiums.

In accepting the recommendation, Cabinet will accept the insurance costs as set out in Annex A of the report at £166,352.

The reason for the decision:

The Council’s insurance policy would expire on 1 November 2019 and Cabinet was satisfied that the procurement exercise undertaken achieved value for money for the Council in renewing its insurance policy.

That Cabinet accepts the insurance costs as se out in Annex A of the report at £166,352.00.
