Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places - Results of Consultation PDF 191 KB The Council currently designates polling districts and polling places for use at all elections taking place within its area, i.e., Parliamentary, County and Parish elections. The Electoral Administration Act 2006 introduced a requirement to review polling districts and polling places used for Parliamentary elections. The next review must take place by 31 January 2015. Following the decision of the Boundary Commission for Local Government to reduce the number of District Wards from 2015 there is a need to review electoral arrangements.
