1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

2. HONORARY ALDERMAN - To consider the following motion:-

"That, pursuant to its powers under Section 249(1) of the Local Government Act 1972, the Council hereby confers upon Mr R I Andrew, Mr P Featherstone, Mr J E Fletcher and Mr D S Murkett the title of Honorary Alderman of the District of Hambleton in recognition of the eminent services which they have rendered to the Council of the District of Hambleton during the period they were a member of that Council."

In accordance with the recommendations of Council on 20 September 2011, following careful consideration of the following guidelines:

- long service as defined by the Council's scheme to recognise length of membership of 16 years;
- service to the authority through a significant office;
- a declared intention on the part of the recipient that he has permanently retired from service as a member of the Council.
